God has been drawing my attention to the Jewish roots of my faith since 2017, when I was facing a difficult time attending church, not because I doubted Him but because some people, including leaders, seemed to “get to used” to be within the Church. Well, He answers our prayers!
It has been a wonderful personal journey, I´d describe it like my understanding about the whole Bible has been “amplified” in a sense of being wider, more profound, or like I can see through some lens that gives me a thorough knowledge. I just want to keep searching for and knowing Him more and more, and every thing I learn is awesome!!
This course is an amazing resource, both Doctors give us priceless background and information that probably we would not be able to access from another channel.

Dr. Evans made it easier to understand the Jewish of Jesus. Jesus is real and He lived in a Jewish world which new testament believers needs to understand. This knowledge helps us to know the Jewish roots of Christianity.
I appreciated the in depth discussions about the times of Jesus and the impact and better understanding on the world around him.
This course is perfect for people who is curious about the life of Yeshua but with a busy schedule. It’s concise and straightforward, the exposition is clear and engaging, it gives you a panoramic view from a vivid realistic historical perspective, based on Scripture, historical research and archaeological findings. I’m sure it will motivate you to continue learning and gain more insight in the knowledge of the Jewish roots for a better understand of the Gospels and the Christian faith.

I liked the explanation of the context in which Jesus lived. This is very important for me as a Christian, because we have been often trained to think of Jesus as if he was completely far from the background of the people he lived among

Great Course, you learn a lot of context from Craig Evans. A lot will validate of what a Christian believes, like myself, but will also surprise you from the jewish scholars and historians say. I recommend everyone of faith to take these courses.
